X-Button Mashing!
Ow, damn. Word to the wise, don't get kicked by a horse. I wish I could show you guys pictures of my bruises, they are fierce.

Apparently I did something to my arm yesterday as well, because it's all bruised up and ouchy. I'm guessing it's from the constant pulling, or maybe when she jerked the reins out of my hand when she kicked me. But seriously, ow.

Anyway! The other day I started a new game of Kingdom Hearts II, and at the behest of [info]rionaleonhart I will now ramble on about it.

Oh, Roxas. This game is really cruel, do they know that? You can't just create a person and then say "Oh, sorry, you don't really exist! You're just a place holder; bye now!" Grrr. I admit, when Roxas said "Guess my summer vacation is really over" I kind of wanted to cry. Okay, maybe I did a little, shut up.

And the thing is, I really freaking love Sora, so I can't say that I wish Roxas could have just stayed a Nobody. The whole thing just sucks.

And omgggg, when Sora is about to get on the train and starts crying for no reason. And Hayner, Pence and Olette went to see him off but they weren't sure why. Pence starts following the train as it leaves, why does this happy-go-lucky video game make me so sad!

I'm getting kind of annoyed at the whole Disney aspect of the game, which is odd because it's never bothered me before. I just want to finish all the side stories, I guess, and get on to the real stuff.

But! I love fighting, yaaaaay for the x-button! I'm not really a gamer, so it's fun to just press X over and over and watch the Heartless/Nobodies explode into little glowing balls of HP or magic or munny or what have you. It's very satisfying.

And also, how grateful am I for Donald and Goofy, srsly. The amount of times Donald has saved my ass with a Cure, I don't know why everybody hates them so much. Sure, they're silly and come on, it's Donald and Goofy for god's sake. I've never been more happy for subtitles, because I can never understand what the hell Donald is saying. But they're all such good friends, it makes me happy! I was working of the Coliseum and when they introduced themselves to Auron, it turned into a collapsed dogpile of boy and duck and dog, and the whole thing is just so damn ridiculous that I laughed my ass off.

It's pissing me off because my brothers keep coming in and talking about how stupid the game is, and how crappy the graphics are, and making fun of the dialogue. So what? I like it. It's happy.

Mostly. Stupid Nobodies and their supposed lack of existence. :(

(I don't know how many of you have played the game, but no spoilers for the ending, please!)

Yay! Kingdom Hearts makes me so happy (apart from when it is making me cry my eyes out), so this entry pleases me very much.

...how can people play the game if they hate Donald and Goofy? They're not my favourite characters in it, but I find their relationship with Sora terribly charming. (And, yes, Donald's Cures are wonderful.)

I don't know, I guess they like all the Final Fantasy characters enough to keep playing. I admit, I rather liked it when I could run around as Roxas without two other characters following me around at the bottom of the screen, but I still think it's more fun in battle when you can focus on all three and strategise, you know what I mean?
